About The Book

For fans of Netflix’s Dragon Prince and travel manga like Frieren: Beyond Journeys End, Aurora: Book 1 follows a found family group of heroes on a journey to save a god from an immortal witch.

Vash was a great god, even in his adopted human form, which is what made him a tantalizing target for the Collector. After luring Vash out of his city’s walls, she destroys the city, kills him, and steals his soul. At least, she thought she had killed him. Kendal, the human who shared a body with Vash, awakens in Vash’s now-empty body with only one goal: to save his god. To do so, Kendal will need the help of the friends he meets along the way.

First is the elf Alinua, a young and self-taught, but very powerful, life mage. She has been living as a hermit for years, convinced she was a carrier of a deadly plague. Kendal will also meet Erin, the elemental magus who can control all the different types of magic, and whose pride and power are on equal footing. Erin may need Kendal and Alinua, perhaps more than they need him. Finally, Falst is the team’s surly pragmatist. As a Ferin, a type of half-beast, Falst has been ostracized and treated like an animal all his life, so he will risk anything to protect the first people who have ever given him love and a place to belong.

Together with his friends, Kendal will visit strange and mysterious locations, such as the labyrinth of caves formed at the time the world was made, a mysterious forest plagued by chimeric monsters, and the dangerous Storm of Magic...
