About The Book

An exciting ecological fantasy adventure in which a young girl finds out her origins are from the Sea People and can turn into a mermaid.

Alea has found out she is a mermaid! She finally knows why she always felt so strange. But what happened to her mother more than ten years ago? And why does the entire underwater world seem almost extinct? Alea can’t possibly be the last of her Sea People in the world.

She sets off with her friends, the Alpha Cru, to a mysterious lake. Alea isn’t the only one hoping to find answers there. Lennox wonders whether he is a merman. Is that why he and Alea both feel magically attracted to one other?

About The Author

With Tanya Stewner and books, it wasn't love at first sight. After her elementary school teacher said that Tanya would probably never learn to read and write properly, it was at the age of ten that Tanya discovered her passion for writing. From that point on, the stories just started to flow. Stewner studied literature and worked as a translator and editor for several years. She now devotes herself entirely to her writing. Her children's book series, especially Alea Aquarius, are huge successes both in Germany and internationally.
